Drafts that I loved:

Pittsburgh Steelers: I think that the Steelers did the best of any team this year. They needed Oline talent(check), an heir to Casey Hampton(check) and some offensive flash(check). Just absolutely killed it up and down their picks.
Best pick: David DeCastro in round 1
Worst pick: Sean Spence in round 3(only by default).

Green Bay Packers: Needed to reinforce their defense across the board, and got some steals. They might have found 4-5 prospects who could start this year. The rich get richer.
Best pick: Where to begin…Jerel Worthy in round 2
Worst pick: Mike Daniels in round 4

Houston Texans: I really didn’t like their pick of DeVier Posey, but the rest of the draft was impressive. Mercilus, Crick, Brooks and Jones were great value picks.
Best pick: Jared Crick in round 4
Worst pick: DeVier Posey in round 3

San Diego Chargers: the lord of no rings did very well this april. Ingram, Taylor and Reyes should play quickly. They also got a bunch of solid prospects late in the draft(Green, Molk and Troutman) who might play very quickly. Only complaint is not getting a field stretching WR to replace VJax.
Best pick: Melvin Ingram in round 1.
Worst pick: Edwin Baker in round 7.

Minnesota Vikings: Love most of their picks, especially Greg Childs and Audie Cole late. Also love their trade down and still getting Kahil to protect Ponder. Nothing I can complain about.
Best pick: Matt Kahil in round 1.
Worst pick: By default, trading up for Harrison Smith in round 1.

New England Patriots: it was all about reinforcing their defense, and man did they accomplish that. Hightower and Jones should contribute immediately, Bequette and Dennard might by the end of their rookie seasons.
Best pick: Jake Bequette in round 3
Worst pick: Tavon Wilson in round 2.

Indianapolis Colts: All about rebuilding the offense, they accomplished that and got a NT for their new 34 system in Josh Chapman. The Colts, if Luck’s learning curve is short, could be back to being a regular winner very quickly
Best pick: Andrew Luck in round 1
Worst pick: TY Hilton in Round 3.

Buffalo Bills: Got 5-6 players that could contribute quickly. Hard to argue with any of their picks actually, maybe Gilmore went 10 picks too high.
Best pick: Cordy Glenn in round 2
Worst pick: Mark Asper in round 6(almost by default)

Drafts that I liked but think that there’s issues:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The anti-St Louis Rams this year, they took a bunch of safer picks and targeted ready to play prospects. I just wouldn’t tell LeGarrette Blount that Doug Martin went to Boise State lol
Best pick: Mark Barron in round 1.
Worst pick: Keith Tandy In round 6.

Arizona Cardinals: Not a huge fan of the Floyd pick, but they did get 3 quality Oline prospects(risky, but quality). Not getting an edge rusher might be fatal for their season though.
Best pick: Nate Potter in round 7
Worst pick: Michael Floyd in round 1.

New Orleans Saints: Hamstrung by trades and penalties, the Saints did well with the few picks that they had left. They needed shaping more then immediate players, and I think did a good job. Some risk though.
Best pick: Nick Toon in round 4.
Worst pick: Corey White in round 5.

Washington Redskins: Their entire draft was in their first pick: RG3. Almost no matter what else they net from the draft, whether rg3 is a bust or not will be what is remembered from it.
Best Pick: Robert Griffin III in round 1
Worst pick: Kirk Cousins in round 4.

Atlanta Falcons: Love the first two picks(Konz/Holmes), They wasted most of the rest of their picks. This is their year, or heads will start rolling
Best pick: Lamar Holmes in round 3.
Worst pick: Bradie Ewing in round 5.

Chicago Bears: They needed to come out of the draft with Oline and WR talent…they only filled one of those. I love the Jeffery pick, but whether Cutler will be upright long enough to use him is another question.
Best pick: Alshon Jeffery in round 2.
Worst pick: Shea McClellin in round 1.

New York Giants: They didn’t have a lot of immediate needs, so it was a BPA draft for them. Randle and Wilson have talent but big risk. They did a good job getting OL depth late as well.
Best pick: Brandon Mosley in round 4.
Worst pick: David Wilson in round 1.

Very risky drafts:

St Louis Rams: with a ton of picks(and more after multiple trade downs), the Rams can be forgiven for taking a number of flyer picks up and down the draft board. But ultimately they took on a lot of risk.
Best pick: Trumaine Johnson in round 3
Worst pick: Brian Quick in round 2.

Detroit Lions: Another “lets take a bunch of names” draft for them. They might have stole Reiff at least, but the rest of the picks are unexciting.
Best pick: Riley Reiff in round 1.
Worst pick: Ryan Broyles in round 2(only on value).

New York Jets: Rex Ryan and a number of players need to be successful this season in order to stick around, and the Jets really went BPA across the board. I like trading up for Hill on value/talent, but think that other WRs would have made more sense. Coples won’t help them much.
Best pick: Terrance Ganaway in round 6
Worst pick: Quinton Coples in Round 1.

Baltimore Ravens: Upshaw was a steal, but the rest of the draft probably was a waste. Tommy Streeter was bad value even for the 6th round.
Best pick: Courtney Upshaw in round 2.
Worst pick: Kelechi Osemele in round 2.

Tennessee Titans: A total BPA draft for them. They didn’t target many positions of need and just tried to find players who can contribute quickly. I’m a fan of Zach Brown, and think that Markelle Martin was a total steal.
Best pick: Markelle Martin in round 6
Worst pick: Mike Martin in round 3.

Drafts that I didn’t think much of:

Miami Dolphins: Did great in the 2nd day. They’ll regret taking Tannehill imo. This was another BPA draft for a team that needed to fill holes.
Best pick: Jon Martin in round 2.
Worst pick: Ryan Tannehill in round 1

Cincinnati Bengals: As usual, the Bengals took a bunch of big names regardless of position and regardless of value. Some I like, most I don’t. I don’t think that they’ll see the kind of value that they’re hoping to out of their picks.
Best pick: Mohamed Sanu in round 3
Worst pick: Devon Still in round 2.

Carolina Panthers: they needed defensive reinforcement across the board, they did little to help their Dline and DB issues. Expect them to be “exciting,” “innovative,” and “5-11″ next year lol.
Best pick: Joe Adams in round 4.
Worst pick: Frank Alexander in round 4.

Denver Broncos: They traded up and down a lot, and ended up taking a bunch of long term projects. If Derek Wolfe isn’t ready, they did little to address their needs.
Best pick: Omar Bolden in round 4.
Worst pick: Derek Wolfe in round 2.

Philadelphia Eagles: I get the Cox pick, I really do. Great value and will mesh perfectly. And I like Boykin and McNutt. But the rest of their picks were Andy Reid wasted pick specials. Kendricks is too small to play safety, much less Will. Vinny Curry is another undersized rusher who will be stuck on the bench and Foles isn’t a WCO Qb.
Best pick: Brandon Boykin in round 4
Worst pick: Mychal Kedricks in round 2.

Drafts that I laughed at:

Jacksonville Jaguars: Don’t get me wrong, trading up for Blackmon was the right move, btu the rest of their draft was comical.
Best pick: Justin Blackmon in round 1
Worst pick: Bryan Anger in round 3

Seattle Seahawks: Too many reaches, too many high picks used in places that they didn’t appear to have a need for. I get why you’d want Irvin, Wagner and Russell Wilson, but with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks combined?
Best pick: Robert Turbin in round 4.
Worst pick: Russell Wilson in round 3.

Oakland Raiders: Al Davis might be in the zombie field in the sky, but his drafting style isn’t. The Raiders took more physical projects and didn’t really improve their team.
Best pick: Juron Criner in round 5
Worst pick: The rest? If I have to pick: Tony Bergstrom in round 3.

San Francisco 49ers: I get that they stockpiled a ton of picks for next year, but this should be the year to make a big push for them. And its hard to see any of their early picks really getting on the field any time in the near future. Just a bizarre drat full of reaches
Best pick: Cam Johnson in round 7
Worst pick: AJ Jenkins in round 1.

Kansas City Chiefs: I get taking Poe, no matter the risk he brings with him(and man, I want his hair style), but two OTs when you shelled out for Winston and Albert, makes zero sense. Just an odd draft which smacks of their FO unable to make deals down or up.
Best pick: Cyrus Gray in Round 6
Worst pick: Devon Wylie in round 4

Cleveland Browns: I like some of the players that they took, but unless Richardson gets 5000 yards in his first 3 seasons, they could have gotten the same production from any number of RB prospects. Not impressed with Weeden also.
Best pick: Mitchell Schwartz in round 2
Worst pick: Brandon Weeden in round 1.

Dallas Cowboys: They dealt up for Claiborne…after investing 77 million in Scandrick and Carr. None of their picks seem like anything more then Jeruh’s love for physical freaks.
Best pick: James Hanna in round 6
Worst pick: Morris Claiborne in round 1.

5 teams who I loved their 2nd/3rd rounds:
1. Dolphins: Jon Martin was top 20 value, Egnew and Oliver seem like good contributors potentially.
2. Colts: Give Luck the weapons to be successful. Might be overkill, but they need the help.
3. Steelers: Mike Adams will play quickly and Sean Spence should thrive in that 3-4.
4. Broncos: Im not a big fan of Osweiller, but he can sit and learn. Wolfe/Hillman were great value.
5. Chargers: Did a great job reinforcing that defense.

5 teams who I hated their 2nd/3rd rounds:
1. I think that the Jags were drinking. A punter in the third and Andre Branch when they badly need a RT(before Martin/Glenn/Adams)? Yikes.
2. Eagles: Nick Foles isn’t a fit for that system at all. Kendricks is basically an undersized safety who’ll get creamed at LB and Vinny Curry will sit for 2-3 years. Wasted picks.
3. Lions: I like Broyles, not in the 2nd. Bentley is another guy I like but not in that system. They need a bigger CB.
4. Rams: Took too many risks, except for T Johnson. Janois Jenkins needs a firm hand to keep him in line. Quick could be Jordy Nelson but more likely will be Devin Thomas.
5. Chiefs: Don’t get me wrong, nothing wrong with taking 2 OTs with 2 picks, but they have so many other bigger needs.

Top 20 players left:
1. Kirk Cousins QB MSU. I’m surprised he’s still here.
2. Bobby Massie OT Ole Miss. RAW, but talented.
3. Nick Toon WR Wisconsin. Productive in a running scheme, tough and smart.
4. Alameda Ta’Amu DL Washington. Some team is going to get themselves a good NT.
5. James Brown OL Troy. ZBS left sided lineman.
6. Brandon Boykin CB UGA. Boykin is still on the board? Really?
7. Robert Turbin RB Utah State. A ZBS runner, but productive.
8. Antonio Allen S South Carolina. Basically a small LB.
9. Vick Ballard Rb Miss State. Another one cut guy, but plays faster then his numbers.
10. Brandon Mosley OT Auburn. Maybe a good backup at best, but worth a flyer.
11. Orson Charles TE UGA. More an hback, some character issues.
12. Markelle Martin S Okla State. Maybe a nickel Safety.
13. Mike Brewster OC Ohio State. Tough, smart, a leader.
14. Nigel Bradham LB FSU. Smoked the senior bowl, but too inconsistent.
15. Joe Adams WR Arkansas. Tough and quick, will contribute if you let him.
16. Ronnell Lewis LB Oklahoma. Squat without great quickness, productive though.
17. Cam Johnson DE UVA. Not exciting, one of those “doesn’t do anything great-does a lot of things well” guys.
18. BJ Coleman QB UT-Chattanooga. Good tools, small competition.
19. David Molk OC Michigan. Very undersized, but great player.
20. Audie Cole LB NC State. Stiff for an ILB, but relentless.

5 best 1st rounds:
1.	Pittsburgh: Got top 7 talent at pick 24 and DeCastro fills a major need.
2.	New England: Had to deal up, but had the extra picks to make it happen. Hightower and Jones should be contributors VERY quickly.
3.	Denver: they had multiple holes and were able to pick up a bounty of extra picks.
4.	Minnesota: Got the player that actually wanted and a prospect for their secondary without giving up a ton.
5.	Washington: RG3 will be the name remembered from this draft IMO

5 worst 1st rounds:
1.	Dallas: So you gave up a 2nd to reinforce a position that you spent 50 million on in free agency?
2.	Jets: Umm….you needed a rusher, a strong safety, a RB, a WR and right side Olinemen and you take a 5 tech DE with motivation/effort issues? Are you trying to get fired Rex?
3.	Miami: You could have dropped down 10 spots, picked up more picks and taken Tannehill or Weeden.
4.	Seattle: Don’t get me wrong, I like Irvin-he could be a great pass rusher. But he would have been there in the 2nd.
5.	Arizona: I’m so-so on Floyd, but even if he’s a good player, he wont see the ball much because the QB either sucks or is getting creamed.

Top 10 prospects left:
1.	Alshon Jeffery WR South Carolina. I would be shocked if he makes it to pick 40
2.	Cordy Glenn OL UGA. Can play OG or OT, solid player
3.	Jon Martin OT Stanford. Maybe limited upside, but a solid player
4.	Courtney Upshaw DE/LB Alabama. I actually felt bad for him last night
5.	Peter Konz OC Wisconsin. Probably won’t last past Balto’s 2nd.
6.	Alameda Ta’amu DL Washington. A NT, but a great NT prospect.
7.	Coby Fleener TE Stanford. Be worried that Harbaugh passed on him….
8.	Vinny Curry DE/LB Marshall. One dimensional, but good at it.
9.	Mike Adams OT OSU. Small arms but could be a great RG.
10. Jerel Worthy DT MSU. Maybe not a great upside guy, but a solid 2nd banana DT.

1. Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck QB Stanford. Duh.
2. Washington Redskins(from St Louis): Robert Griffin III QB Baylor. Double Duh.
3. New York Jets(projected trade with Minnesota Vikings and St Louis, Jets give Bart Scott, Shonn Green and their 3rd to StL, Kyle Wilson and their 2nd rounder to Minny, St Louis drops down to 16, Minny to 6): Trent Richardson RB Alabama. The Jets supposedly LOVE Richardson and want up badly. The Rams pick up 2 starters(and flip Stephen Jackson to Cleveland for a 4th round pick) and another high pick. The Vikings want out of #3 and get a 2nd for their trouble.
4. Cleveland Browns: Morris Claiborne CB LSU. They really wanted Richardson, they’ll be happy with Claiborne+SJax
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Stephon Gilmore CB South Carolina. I don’t think he’s worth this pick, but he’s shooting up the boards.
6. Minnesota Vikings(from St Louis Rams via Washington): Matt Kahil OT Southern Cal. Maybe not Boselli but should be a solid starter for years.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Justin Blackmon WR Okla State. If he falls from here, it could be a long night for him. The consensus among scouts is that he’s talented but isn’t a superstar prospect.
8. Miami Dolphins: Melvin Ingram DE South Carolina. They need a Qb but not Tannehill. If they can get Weeden in the 2nd, they should be happy.
9. Carolina Panthers: Luke Kuechly LB BC. Davis and beason are basically done.
10. St Louis Rams(projected trade with Buffalo Bills, Bills get St Louis’ natural 2nd, the skins’ 2nd and the Rams 3rd): Fletcher Cox DT Miss State. They might take Cox at 6.
11. Kansas City Chiefs: David DeCastro OG Stanford. Him or Poe here imo.
12. Seattle Seahawks: Quentin Coples DL UNC. Could be a long night for him on Thursday.
13. Arizona Cardinals: Michael Floyd WR Notre Dame. They BPA draft, Floyd doesn’t help but it is what it is.
14. Dallas Cowboys: Dre Kirkpatrick CB Alabama. Him or Barron here.
15. Philadelphia Eagles: Chandler Jones DL Syracuse. 20 picks too high? An undersized rusher? Not a need? SOLD!
16. Pittsburgh Steelers(projected trade with St Louis Rams(via Jets), Rams get Mike Wallace, Steelers get this 1st and the Redskins’ 1st in 2013): Cordy Glenn OL UGA. They need Olinemen BADLY. They hate to give up Wallace, but they can’t afford(or want to) pay him his demands. Cash in now and you have Brown/Sanders/your next 1st round pick to replace him.
17. Cincinnati Bengals(from Oakland): Mark Barron S Alabama. They need safety help.
18. San Diego Chargers: Stephen Hill WR Ga Tech AJ Smith likes to do the unpredictable though.
19. Chicago Bears: Riley Reiff OT Iowa. They can’t run this card up fast enough.
20. Tennessee Titans: Dontari Poe DL Memphis. Local kid, can play 2 gap also.
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Michael Brockers DL LSU. Makes no sense but that means it makes sense.
22. Cleveland Browns(from Atlanta): Ryan Tannehill QB TAMU. Brady Quinn…meet Ryan….
23. Detroit Lions: Jon Martin OT Stanford. Bye bye Backus.
24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Alshon Jeffery WR South Carolina. Painful to give up Wallace, Jeffery/Brown/Sanders should be productive with a healthy OLine.
25. Denver Broncos: Devon Still DL PSU. I don’t like him, but he makes sense here.
26. Houston Texans: Shea McClellin DE/LB Boise State. A real rusher which they need.
27. New England Patriots(from NOLA): Don’ta Hightower LB Alabama. Spikes isn’t the answer, and Mayo needs help.
28. Green Bay Packers: Trumaine Johnson FS Montana. A reach but the Pack need a FS and don’t care about reaching.
29. Baltimore Ravens: Peter Konz OL Wisconsin. 3rd Duh pick.
30. San Fran 49ers: Colby Fleener TE Stanford. If Harbaugh passes on him for a non-need pick, be worried about Fleener.
31. New England Patriots: Nick Perry DE/LB Southern Cal. Name the healthy pass rushers on their roster.
32. New York Giants: Bobby Massie OT Ole Miss. Can develop with time.

33-St. Louis Rams: Mike Adams OT OSU. Insurance policy.
34-Indianapolis Colts: Colby Fleener TE Stanford. Luck’s reliable TE target for him to use.
35-Minnesota Vikings: Jayron Hosley CB Va Tech. Kahil in round 1, fix the DB mess in round 2.
36-Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Doug Martin RB Boise State. Assuming they pass on T-Rich in round 1.
37-Cleveland Browns: Joe Adams WR Arkansas. His stock is still sneaky high. This is assuming a Tannehill pick at 4.

38-Jacksonville Jaguars: Kelechi Osemele OL Iowa State. Assuming an Ingram or Floyd pick in round 1.
39-St. Louis Rams(from Washington): Jerel Worthy DT Michigan State. Whomever is running that defense needs DT talent.
40-Carolina Panthers: Chandler Jones DE/LB Syracuse. Despite C-Johnson justifying his massive deal, they need another rusher.
41-Buffalo Bills: Alfonzo Dennard CB Nebraska. Probably way too high, but he could move to FS.
42-Miami Dolphins: Kirk Cousins QB Michigan State. Im guessing that they pass or lose out on Tannehill.
43-Seattle Seahawks: Nick Perry DE Southern Cal. Assuming an OLine pick in round 1, Carroll gets someone he knows.
44-Kansas City Chiefs: Brandon Weeden QB Okla State. Makes a lot of sense. They don’t have to wait on him to develop.
45-Dallas Cowboys: Bobby Massie OT Ole Miss. Jeruh, sadly, finally realized that the Oline is important.
46-Philadelphia Eagles: Ruben Randle WR LSU. Yes, they have Maclin and Jackson, but they always go BPA. RB is a possibility here.
47-New York Jets: Mohamed Sanu WR Rutgers. A fluid flanker to team with Holmes.
48-New England Patriots(from Oakland): Janoris Jenkins Cb North Alabama. Doesn’t seem like a BB type player, but he took Gonzo from Urban’s summer camp and he had pot issues also.
49-San Diego Chargers: Nick Toon WR Wisconsin. They need a WR option with Jackson finally leaving. Toon is quietly moving up boards.
50-Chicago Bears: LaMichael James RB Oregon. Lets just say that Forte could be had cheaply. Maybe the next pick cheaply…
51-Philadelphia Eagles(from Arizona): Bobby Wagner LB Utah State. The LB spot is to Andy Reid what Spain was to Napoleon.
52-Tennessee Titans: Zach Brown LB UNC. Free falling, but only because teams are afraid he’s the next Keith Rivers(OLB sans any rush ability).
53-Cincinnati Bengals: Lamar Miller Rb Miami. 2 down back who won’t help in short yardage situs.
54-Detroit Lions: Jeff Allen OT Illinois. DB or LB in round 1, Jeff “Walking Dead” Backus’ replacement in round 2.
55-Atlanta Falcons: James Brown OT Troy. A prototypical ZBS LT going to a team that needs one.
56-Pittsburgh Steelers: Alameda Ta’amu DL Washington. They can’t take him fast enough.
57-Denver Broncos: Billy Winn DL Boise State. Bunkley will be badly missed if they don’t replace him.
58-Houston Texans: Tank Carder LB TCU. A bit high, but they need a 3 down LB.
New Orleans Saints(forfeited)
59-Green Bay Packers: Jamell Fleming CB Oklahoma. A sleeper, the Pack loves them BPA also.
60-Baltimore Ravens: Josh Robinson CB Central Florida. Maybe Webb 2.0?
61-San Francisco 49ers: Brian Quick WR App State. Moss and Manningham might not be the answer. Meanwhile Crabtree could be headed elsewhere at a cut rate price.
62-New England Patriots: Brandon Taylor S LSU. Name their FS…I dare you.
63-New York Giants: Dwayne Allen TE Clemson Community College. Value pick, but Allen is prone for mental lapses.
64-Indianapolis Colts: David Wilson RB Va Tech. The Colts’ entire offense needed replacement.
65-St. Louis Rams: Isiah Pead Rb Cincy. SJax is still the starter, Pead gives him 3rd downs off.
66-Minnesota Vikings: Marvin McNutt WR Iowa. Harvin needs someone on the other side.
67-Cleveland Browns: Vick Ballard RB Miss State. They really wanted Pead here, they’ll be happier with Ballard.
68-Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Andre Branch DE Clemson Community College. They’re going to keep drafting Clemson rushers until one pans out dammnit!
69-Washington Redskins: Brandon Boykin CB UGA. Deadly returner also.
70-Jacksonville Jaguars: Juron Criner WR Arizona. Lee Evans isn’t the answer.
71-Buffalo Bills: Tommy Streeter WR Miami. I don’t think much of him, but they need a target for Fitzpatrick.
72-Miami Dolphins: Orson Charles TE UGA. A real TE/Hback type to help move the offense.
73-Miami Dolphins (from Carolina via Chicago): AJ Jenkins WR Illinois. Slot burner.
74-Kansas City Chiefs: Josh Chapman NT Alabama. A “what the hell, why not” pick.
75-Seattle Seahawks: Bernard Pierce Rb Temple. Much in the Lynch mold, he picks up some carries from him.
76-Houston Texans(from Philadelphia): Ryan Broyles WR Oklahoma. They need WR help but can let him recover.
77-New York Jets: Zebrie Sanders OT FSU. I don’t trust the right side of their line.
Oakland Raiders(forfeited)
78-San Diego Chargers: Coryell Judie CB TAMU. The Lord of No Rings can’t pass on physical tool players.
79-Chicago Bears: Cam Johnson DE UVA. When it doubt, the Bears take a DE.
80-Arizona Cardinals: Brock Osweiler QB ASU. Not like they’re super sold on Kolb.
81-Dallas Cowboys: BJ Coleman QB UT-Chattanooga. And thus begins the love affair between Coleman and disgruntled Cowboys fans come December.
82-Tennessee Titans: Philip Blake OL Baylor. Can play C or G, the Titans need help at both.
83-Cincinnati Bengals: George Iloka S Boise State. Another team that can’t pass on measurable.
84-Atlanta Falcons: Nigel Bradham LB FSU. Don’t ask too much from him early.
85-Detroit Lions: Antonio Allen S South Carolina. Should thrive in that system.
86-Pittsburgh Steelers: Robert Turbin RB Utah State. Mendenhall will be hurt to start 2012, and he’s expensive to keep.
87-Denver Broncos: Casey Hayward CB Vandy. That secondary is o.l.d.
88-Philadelphia Eagles(from Houston): Ryan Lindley QB SDSU. A perfect developmental project for Reid to work with.
89-New Orleans Saints: Greg Childs WR Arkansas. The Saints need another WR and they don’t mind medical red flags.
90-Green Bay Packers: Jared Crick DL Nebraska. Steal. STEAL.
91-Baltimore Ravens: Audie Cole LB NC State. They’ll find a place for him.
92-San Francisco 49ers: Leonard Johnson CB Iowa State. A straight out of central casting 5-10 200 lbs 4.5 40 CB.
93-New England Patriots: Chris Givens WR Wake. Hard working, productive, won’t complain.
94-New York Giants: Malik Jackson DE Tennessee.. Can’t have enough rushers.

There’s a lot of bullshit being slung out there. Consider this mock as an attempt to cut through it:

1.	Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck Qb Stanford. Duh.
2.	Washington Redskins(from St Louis): Robert Griffin III Qb Baylor. Double Duh.
3.	Minnesota Vikings: Matt Kahil OT Southern Cal. I’m not buying the trade talk here, Minny won’t get fair value as compared to taking Kahil. Tannehill or whomever isn’t worth dealing up this ar.
4.	Cleveland Browns: Morris Claiborne CB LSU. Blackmon makes sense, but Holmgren’s butt is still bleeding from Koren Robinson. I don’t buy the Tannehill this high talk yet.
5.	Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Trent Richardson RB Alabama. I buy him going this high, Blount isn’t the answer imo.
6.	Projected trade: Miami Dolphins (from St Louis Rams via Washington: St Louis gets pick #8, Miami’s natural 3rd and 4ths): Ryan Tannehill Qb TAMU. Cheap trade up with extra picks. I’m no fan of Tannehill but Miami needs a Qb badly.
7.	Jacksonville Jaguars: Melvin Ingram DL South Carolina. Great fit for the Jags, with all their DTs on the roster, Ingram can see less doubles.
8.	St Louis Rams(from Miami): Fletcher Cox DT Miss State. Shooting up the boards, I buy it: he’s a hard working talented guy. Fisher loves him some strong DT play also.
9.	Carolina Panthers: Luke Kuechly LB BC. Who knows what you’re going to get from Davis/Beason.
10.	Buffalo Bills: Justin Blackmon WR Okla State. Not a matter of Blackmon dropping, more a matter of others rising. The Bills can’t get this pick in quick enough.
11.	Projected trade: New York Jets(from Kansas City Chiefs, KC gets pick 16, Bart Scott and Ricky Sapp): Dontari Poe NT Memphis. I do buy the rumors that the Jets are trying to move up for a defensive playmaker. Ingram makes more sense, but a real NT would be great for them also. The Chiefs would only drop down a few picks for LB help.
12.	Seattle Seahawks: David DeCastro OG Stanford. Oline, oline, oline.
13.	Arizona Cardinals: Riley Reiff OT Iowa. No matter who’s throwing the ball, he needs protection. Don’t be shocked if this pick goes to Miami for Cameron Wake either.
14.	Dallas Cowboys: Mark Barron SS Alabama. Rising up boards, they need safety help badly.
15.	Philadelphia Eagles: Quentin Coples DE UNC. Dropping as fast as Barron is rising, the Eagles don’t mind risk on a rusher.
16.	Kansas City Chiefs(from Jets): Michael Brockers DL LSU. They play him at 5 tech for now.
17.	Cincinnati Bengals(from Oakland): Dre Kirkpatrick CB Alabama. If he’s here, they’ll jump on him.
18.	San Diego Chargers: Courtney Upshaw 34 attacker Alabama. Him or Nick Perry imo. With so many edge rushers, they could be shopping this pick to someone who wants an early dropper.
19.	Chicago Bears: Jon Martin OT Stanford. Him or Glenn here. Tice prioritizes the Oline.
20.	Tennessee Titans: Michael Floyd WR Notre Dame. Floyd’s head must be spinning with the wide range of opinions about his abilities. The Titans hope he doesn’t hang out with Britt.
21.	Cincinnati Bengals: Stephen Hill WR Ga Tech. Won’t see the ball much with Green on the other side, but will be a burner.
22.	Cleveland Browns(from Atlanta): Kendell Wright WR Baylor. Moving back up the charts, don’t be surprised if this pick gets flipped for a QB like Hoyer.
23.	Detroit Lions: Stephon Gilmore CB South Carolina. Fills a need? Not a pothead? SOLD!!!!
24.	Pittsburgh Steelers: Cordy Glenn OG UGA. Big need: filled.
25.	Denver Broncos: Alshon Jeffery WR South Carolina. Peyton needs another target.
26.	Houston Texans: Nick Perry DE/34 attacker Southern Cal. They like Reed and Barwin, but they need more.
27.	New England Patriots(from NOLA): Jake Bequette DE/OLB Arkansas. Can play in a 3 point or standing up. And this is about 20 picks too high for him. Sold!
28.	Green Bay Packers: Vinny Curry 34 attacker Marshall. Matthews needs someone to draw away doubles/triples.
29.	Baltimore Ravens: Peter Konz OL Wisconsin. Apparently the worst kept secret in the draft: the ravens love Konz.
30.	San Fran 49ers: Coby Fleener TE Stanford. And they hope that Fleener/Davis are the new Gronk/Gonzo.
31.	New England Patriots: Markelle Martin S Okla State. The real question is who trades away their 1st next year to make this pick.
32.	New York Giants: Bobby Massie OT Ole Miss. With the OL talent that they have, they can let him wait a year or two.

The All-Akh Draft team for 2012:
QB: Andrew Luck Stanford. I really like Griffin III, but Luck is the total package. He maybe not as good a prospect as Peyton Manning was but he’s at least superior to Sam Bradford. The Colts(or Redskins) should account themselves very lucky to end up with him.

RB: Trent Richardson Alabama. I really liked Ingram last year, but Richardson could be the better pro.
TE: Colby Fleener Stanford . Might one of the best TE prospects in years. Somehow he’s flying below the radar a bit.
WRs: Justin Blackmon Okla State, Alshon Jeffery South Carolina and Stephen Hill Ga Tech Neither of them are a full blue chipper in the Andre Johnson mold, but they should all be quality pros. Blackmon more in the Reggie Wayne mold, Jeffery as what Boldin always wanted to become and Hill a lot like D. Thomas in Denver.
OTs: Matt Kahil Southern Cal and Jon Martin Stanford Kahil is a blue chip OT prospect who shouldn’t go after pick 3. Martin might be limited in his upside, but he should be a quality OT for years.
OGs: David DeCastro Stanford and Cordy Glenn UGA. Both prospects are as strong prospects for the OG spot in years. Glenn can play just about anywhere on the Line also.
OC: Michael Brewster Ohio State. Generally in the top 3-4 of Center prospects this year, Brewster is a leader and a vet from a long tradition of good Olineman from OSU. Don’t pass on him.
DEs: Melvin Ingram South Carolina and Whitney Mercilus Illinois. Both are pass rush specialists and a bit undersized, but Ingram could be a dominating player in the pros in the right system. Mercilus was born to play in the 4-3/3-4 swing defenses which are coming into vogue.
5 tech: Michael Brockers LSU . As a DT, Brockers probably will be a bad pick. As a 5 tech, he could really shine. Best of a lower rent bunch at this position.
DTs: Fletcher Cox Miss State and Alameda Ta’amu Washington . Cox has a motor which never stops and is a very smart player. Ta’amu is very undervalued: a quality NT/1 gapper who should thrive in the right situ.
NT: Dontari Poe Memphis. I have questions about his mental makeup, but you can’t get past that he’s a physical freak.
OLBs: Ronnell Lewis Oklahoma and Zach Brown UNC Both of them will drop due to the “Keith Rivers corollary”(non pass rushing OLBs will drop in the draft), but both of them should be quality Wills for years.
34 OLB: Vinny Curry Marshall. Very one dimensional, but so quick/fast that he should be able to pull it off.
I/MLB: Don’ta hightower Alabama I’m really high on him(have been for years). He can play anywhere at LB and is a vet leader.
CBs: Morris Claiborne LSU and Dre Kirkpatrick Alabama. Kirkpatrick’s stock is dropping because of character concerns, but both him and Claiborne have the look of shut down corners in the NFL.
FS: Markelle Martin Okla State. Martin is quietly put together a great case to be a surprise 1st round pick. Very active, fluid in coverage and doesn’t make many mistakes.
SS: Mark Barron Alabama . Very strong prospect at Safety. Barron was a leader on a legendary college defense and has played well for multiple seasons(along with recovering from a shaky Junior year).

The All-Akh Sleeper pick team for 2012:
QB: Ryan Lindley San Diego State Man, he can hit every possible throw. The problem is the rest of the time when he thinks he’s better then Peyton Manning.
RB: Vick Ballard Miss State. Probably ideal in a ZBS, Ballard is a rare tough runner with good breakway speed. So-so combine has dropped him.
TE: Brad Smelley Alabama. Ultimately, an H-back but a very strong blocker who can make big catches(and is good improvising).
WRs: Greg Childs Arkansas, Lance Lewis ECU and Ryan Broyles Oklahoma . All dogs with various fleas, Childs is recovering from a major knee injury a couple years ago, Broyles is still suffering from his. Lewis is a big game player who did well against big teams.
OTs: Brandon Mosley Auburn and Joe Long Wayne State. Mosley might be one of those “limited upside guys” but should be a competent OT(probably on the right). Long is Jake’s little brother and has done well in the postseason practices.
OGs: Rokevious Watkins South Carolina and Stephen Good Oklahoma. Watkins had a so-so combine but a strong pro day, he can play anywhere but OC and showed up against the top competition. Good is a very overlooked prospect who needs to work on his run blocking.
OC: David Molk Michigan. Molk doesn’t lack for confidence, but he needs to fill his mouth with protein so he can bulk up to 320. Very polished prospect.
DEs: Malik Jackson Tennessee< and Jake Bequette Arkansas. Jackson faced double/triple teams all year long but looked strong in the postseason practices. Good 4-3 LDE potential. Bequette might be one dimensional, but he’s nasty and can rush the passer.
5 tech: Billy Wynn Boise State. Quietly moving up charts, Wynn can tween between 4-3 LDE and 5 tech. Smart kid.
DTs: Jaye Howard Florida and Akien Hicks Canuckastan. Howard was the model of an Urban Meyer boom/bust guy. Either he dominated or you didn’t know he was on the field. Some well coached team should take him. Hicks played in Canada and has great speed for a DT.
NT: Hebron Fangupo BYU . Squat, big and nasty. Someone gets a quality NT in the 4th or 5th.
OLBs: Nigel Bradham FSU and Danny Trevathan Kentucky. Bradham absolutely torched the senior bowl and shot up charts but is coming back to earth. Even in the late 2nd, he’s a steal imo. Trevathan is a great example of a smart player who’s being overlooked because he played on an awful team and didn’t turn heads at the combine. He might be a backup in the pros, but you’ll feel good with him out there.
34 OLB: Bruce Irvin WVU. Can only rush the passer but man is he fast and quick. Has “Pittsburgh Steelers 34 OLB” written all over him.
I/MLB: Jerry Franklin Arkansas. Can play anywhere in the defensive front 7, but is probably best as a 3-4 ILB attacker. Smart player.
CBs: Jamell Fleming Oklahoma and Isaiah Frey Nevada. Frey is a physical freak with ballhawk skills, but playing at Nevada and his up/down final season will hurt. I don’t quite know why Fleming isn’t a top 50 player right now. He has the skills and physical tools.
FS: Neiko Thorpe Auburn. Big(6-3) CB out of high school who made the natural move to FS. Rangy with good speed, but needs to stop biting on fakes/hitches.
SS: Winston Guy Jr Kentucky. Smart instinctive player who’s being overlooked because his physical tools don’t jump off the page. Great value after pick 100.

The All-Akh bust team for 2012:
QB: Ryan Tannehill. Wows the scouts in practices, why can’t he repeat his good throws in a game?
RB: David Wilson Va Tech . Good size/speed but major fumbles issues and runs towards contact way too much.
TE: Dwayne Allen Clemson. Entered the draft process as the top TE, half-assing his way through the combine et al has scouts worried that he’s another soft/lazy Clemson player.
WRs: Tommy Streeter Miami, Chris Givens Wake and Brian Quick App State. Streeter and Quick are guys who’ve jumped up the boards because they’re fast physical freaks. Nevermind that both run bad routes. Givens isn’t big, fast or quick..but productive…against bad teams.
OTs: Riley Reiff Iowa and Zebrie Sanders FSU.Reiff’s arms are very short for an OT, Sanders was abused by any pass rusher of note basically.
OGs: Ryan Miller Colorado and Kelechi Osemele Iowa State> Both are ogres with bad footwork. Both will go 40 picks too high lol.
OC: Ben Jones UGA. Showed up at the senior bowl and combine flabby. His bad senior bowl didn’t help either.
DEs: Quentin Coples UNC and Andre Branch Clemson. Coples thinks he’s Julius peppers. He ain’t. Branch torched bad OTs in the ACC but is stuck between being 34 OLB and a 43 DE.
5 tech: Devon Still PSU. Productive in college, but really struggled against OSu/Wisconsin.
DTs: Brandon Thompson Clemson and Kendall Reyes UConn. Thompson would show up for small stretches, then be a tackling dummy far too much. Reyes isn’t nearly powerful enough to be a 4-3 DT.
NT: Josh Chapman Alabama . Strong and tough, he’s Terrance Cody without the talent lol.
OLBs: Keenan Robinson Texas and Mychal Kendricks Cali. Kendricks is literally the size of a smaller CB, he’s going to have to move positions or die at the feet of Olinemen. Robinson is like Zach Brown(non-rushing LB) without the smarts or instincts.
34 OLB: Jon Massaquoi Troy. Slow, weak and 260 lbs. Why is he seen as a potential 3rd again?
I/MLB: Luke Kuechly BC. Smoked the combine, I think he could be a decent starter but I wouldn’t take him before pick 50. I’d rather have any number of ILB/MLBs before him.
CBs: Stephon Gilmore South Carolina and Alfonzo Dennard Nebraska. I love both these players, but would be worried about them. Gilmore is shooting up the board from his combine/pro days(not many 6-1 Cbs with great speed), but he was very inconsistent(great in man, terrible in zones). Dennard might have great cover skills but not the physical skills. He should be a FS imo.
FS: Trumaine Johnson Montana. Ballhawk, but bites on fakes/hitches WAY too much for my liking.
SS: George Iloka Boise State Another guy out of position, he’s too stiff to be a coverage safety, maybe in a 3-4 in a Polamalu role? His physical tools will get him looks in the top 120, but I would be very careful taking him.

1. Indianapolis Colts- Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford: Enough has been said about this guy already and if you have watched him play you know he’s going to be amazing in the NFL. If you had the chance to watch the Fiesta bowl of Stanford vs Oklahoma State you were given a glimpse of the greatness. He has the hype of being the greatest quarterback prospect to ever come along, and anything less than a multiple Superbowl winning Hall of Fame career won’t live up to the expectations. To put it plainly, the Colts ditched (Stem Cell neck) Peyton Manning for this phenom.

2. Washington Redskins- Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor: Never in my many years of following College and NFL football have I seen two quarterbacks this good in the same draft. RG3 is the absolute perfect fit for Washington. Not only as a franchise quarterback the city has been dying for over the decades, but as a Sports Icon who will carry a burden of pressure only few individuals could possibly handle. “Pressure creates diamonds” RG3′s pro day workout gear read, and he will find no greater pressure to succeed than in Washington DC. Put aside the mans athleticism aside for one minute and look at his intangibles and character. RG3 possesses the leadership you want in a franchise quarterback, and he will make everyone else around him want to play better, similar in the way Tim Tebow did for Denver last season. The 39th pick in 2012 as well as 1st rounders in 2013, and 2014 was an incredible price to pay, but the Washington Redskins made it known that when you love someone great enough, you’re willing to give up anything to get them.

3. Minnesota Vikings- Matt Kalil, OT, USC: The best offensive line prospect to come along since Jake Long, this premier pass protector will be taken very early by the Vikes. After selecting Christian Ponder last year in the first round the Vikings will need to surround him with talent. While Justin Blackmon and Morris Claiborne are also great talents that fill needs, the value of an elite left tackle will cause big Matt rise to the top.

4. (Trade) Cincinnati Bengals- Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama: I love running backs, and even though I am not an Alabama fan in any way shape or form, I absolutely love to watch Trent Richardson run the ball. Another “I’ve never seen this before” type of talent, but seriously I’ve never seen a running back with his kind of athleticism, vision, agility and power. We’re talking Adrian Peterson level talent here and the Bengals have the ammo to move up. After realizing the blue chip talent of an AJ Green at wide receiver last year the Bengals are infatuated with the idea of a guy like Richardson who could make the same impact at the running back spot. The Browns are able to trade down and sit in a spot of the draft where they can bolster their team needs at deep positions of value.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU: One of the best pure cover corners I have ever seen in college, my best comparison would be Champ Bailey. The Bucs just so happen to be in great need of a corner and they luck out when Claiborne falls to them.

6. St Louis Rams- Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State: A game breaking wide receiver with the confidence and competitiveness you only find in the great ones. He plays the position with passion and seeks to dominate his competition. Sam Bradford is going to be very pleased with this pick as he will now have his go-to guy. The Rams sacrifice losing out on Matt Kalil but the drop down was more than worth it as the Redskins supplied the Rams with the flexibility to move around and stock up as they please in the next few drafts.

7. (Trade) Kansas City Chiefs- Dontari Poe, NT, Memphis: Beastly is the first word that comes to mind when talking about Poe. Did you see him at the combine? His freakish size (6-4 350 lbs) speed (4.9 40) and strength (44 reps of 225 pounds) will cause the Chiefs to make the move up. Kansas city is salivating at the chance to plug in the final monstrous piece of their defensive puzzle and Dontari seems like the perfect 350 pound fit.

8. Miami Dolphins- Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M: This makes too much sense not to happen. With Tannehill’s old head coach from Texas A&M Mike Sherman now being the Offensive coordinator for Miami you would think they would make the move. Tannehill is an interesting prospect as he has a lot of upside and raw athletic talent, but he definitely needs time to learn for a year or two. Matt Moore will be a decent enough starter in the meantime until Ryan is ready to take the reigns.

9. Carolina Panthers- Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina: Sort of a nice local pickup for the Panthers who haven’t been able to replace the other former beast defensive end from UNC Julius Peppers. Coples has great size and athleticism, he projects well to the NFL but everyone’s big complaint is his lack of production in college. This is a big cause for concern but the Panthers need to make this pick. The value of the top rated DE at the 9 spot is worth it.

10. Buffalo Bills- Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa: The Bills made a huge splash by signing Mario Williams this offseason and what better way to continue it than to add a dynamic athlete like Reiff to bolster the other side of the line. Reiff allows the Bills let go of Demetrius Bell and gives Fitzpatrick the protection he’s going to need.

11. (Trade)Jacksonville Jaguars- Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame: The Jags trade down and get the guy they have been coveting. Floyd had tremendous production at Notre Dame and aside from some character issues, is a top level wideout. Blaine Gabbert needs all the help he can get and after a rough rookie season a playmaker like Floyd will help him out big time.

12. Seattle Seahawks-Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina: Seattle lucks out and gets Ingram who is the best pass rusher available. Ingram is a high motor warrior that will constantly run down NFC west quarterbacks for years to come.

13. Arizona Cardinals- Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College: While the Cards need some O-line help they end up going with a machine of a middle linebacker. Luke is an instinctive thunderbolt and will be asked to lead the Cards D from day 1. The production he had in college was gross and his combine performance locks him up as the best linebacker prospect.

14. Dallas Cowboys- David DeCastro, OG, Stanford: The Cowboys have already splurged on corner this offseason by signing Brandon Carr and this will allow them to focus on their shaky offensive line. Getting DeCastro here would be a “hole in one” for the Cowboys as he projects to be one of the best guard prospects to enter the NFL in quite some time.

15. Philadelphia Eagles- Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State: Andy Reid loves him some linemen and Fletcher Cox is the best one available here. Cox is a solid pick at this point and gives the Eagles a very deep defensive line.

16. New York Jets- Mark Barron, S, Alabama: Rex Ryan painstakingly goes back and forth on whether or not he wants more of a pass rush or if he wants somebody to replace Eric Smith. The need to upgrade over Smith is too great and the Jets pull the trigger on the dynamic Barron from Bama.

17. (Trade) New England Patriots- Nick Perry, OLB, USC: The Pats make a move up and Cleveland trades down yet again. The guy the Patriots have been coveting is speed rusher Nick Perry. While Courtney Upshaw was still available I think that Belichick prefers more speed over balance and snags the edge rusher before the Chargers can.

18. San Diego Chargers- Courtney Upshaw, OLB, Alabama: The Bolts go after a relentless edge rusher with a great run stuffing ability. He has a non stop motor and will constantly be pushing tackles and collapsing the pocket.

19. Chicago Bears- Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford: After the Bears traded for Brandon Marshall they best give Cutler the best possible protection to get the ball to him. Martin still on the board makes the Bears happy as can be.

20. Tennessee Titans- Michael Brockers, DT, LSU: The Titans are tempted to go after a DE like Whitney Mercilus or CB’s Janoris Jenkins and Dre Kirkpatrick but the massive potential of Michael Brockers is too much to pass up. They have had trouble replacing Albert Haynesworth and now they hope they found their guy.

21. Cleveland Browns- Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State: Cleveland finally gets to pick and they start by filling a huge need at right tackle and do it by taking one of the best tackles in the draft. This pick provides McCoy with some much needed help on the right side.

22. Cleveland Browns- Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor: With back to back picks the Browns are also able to snag RG3′s main target at Baylor. Wright possesses awesome quickness, great hands, and 4.4-4.5 straight line speed. He had great production at Baylor and projects to be a #1 wide receiver.

23. Detroit Lions- Dre Kirckpatrick, CB, Alabama: The Lions are thrilled as they feel they were able to secure a top talent all the way at 23. While Kirkpatrick has the size and speed perfect for a lockdown corner he also comes with some off the field issues that will concern many teams. The Lions roll the dice and hope Dre is the guy they have been looking for.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers- Dont’a Hightower, LB, Alabama: The Steelers have a need at inside linebacker and Hightower just so happens to have experience playing in a 3-4 at Alabama. The man will be a great fit for the Steelers and should play great being surrounded by such a talented defense.

25. Denver Broncos- Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State: The big boy from East Lansing fills a great need for the Broncos and is a great fit. Worthy is inconsistent but when motivated plays like a top 10 talent.

26. Houston Texans- Steven Hill, WR, Georgia Tech: After a great combine where Hill showed off elite size and speed he managed to solidify himself as the fourth best rated wide receiver in this draft. Even though his production wasn’t great due to a running offense at Georgia Tech his upside is worth gambling on here.

27. (trade)Cleveland Browns- Cordy Glenn, OG, Georgia: The Browns solidify the right side of their line and give Colt McCoy the best chance possible to prove that he can be the guy still.

28. Green Bay Packers- Whitney Mercilus, OLB, Illinois: After much deliberating between a corner or a pass rusher the Pack settle with the edge rusher. Mercilus should be able to convert well into his new role as an outside linebacker and will wreak havoc on the other side of Clay Matthews.

29. Baltimore Ravens- Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin: This appears to be a no brainer as the Ravens need interior line help badly and Konz is the right guy for the job.

30. San Francisco 49ers- Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford: A pick that makes sense for a team that already has a stacked defense. The addition of another dynamic TE to Vernon Davis makes the 49ers receiving core tremendous. Whoever is playing QB for this team whether it be Alex Smith or Colin Kaepernick will be sitting pretty.

31. New England Patriots- Devon Still, DT, Penn State: After moving up and grabbing Nick Perry the Pats continue to improve their front seven by adding Devon Still who is a great value at this point in the draft.

32. New York Giants- Alshon Jeffrey, WR, South Carolina: This is a steal of a pick and Alshon may go higher if he runs well at his pro day. Eli will have a trio of dominant wide receivers.
